Scienza in rete considers itself bound by the duty of transparent reporting, which means correct citation of sources, special care for the clarity and understandability of data, and — more broadly — putting readers in a position to understand the path by which the journalist has constructed the information.

Scienza in rete also commits to demanding transparency from institutions and from both public and private sources, as established by law.
