Are you a researcher? Here’s how to propose an article to Scienza in rete.

We welcome two kinds of contributions. On one hand, pieces that analyze a current affairs topic through researchers’ expertise. On the other, articles in which scientists tell the story of a result they helped produce — a recent paper or a research project with a particularly significant outcome.

The language should be non-technical and accessible to an interested but non-specialist audience. We prefer articles no longer than 1,500 words. Sources and references should be kept essential and inserted as in-text links, so that readers can understand why each is cited.

Articles may include copyright-free images, data, charts and tables, and must be preceded by a short abstract.

The editorial team evaluates the relevance of the proposal and then offers the support needed to ensure the final piece is clear, effective and that its relevance to public debate is explicit.
