Stefania Salmaso

She holds degrees in Biological Sciences and Medical Statistics. She worked at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità from 1979 to 2015, focusing on epidemiological research and public health training. She served as director of the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology and the National Center for Epidemiology, Surveillance and Health Promotion. She is currently an independent expert with no affiliations to the pharmaceutical industry.
