Marco Taddia

Formerly Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Bologna, he carried out research at the “Giacomo Ciamician” Department of Chemistry. His work has focused mainly on electrochemical and spectroscopic analysis of industrial materials. A scholar of the History of Chemistry, he edited with Marco Ciardi the first Italian version of Lavoisier’s Opuscules. He has chaired the National Group for the Foundations and History of Chemistry since 2014 and represents the Italian Chemical Society in the EuCheMS Working Party on the History of Chemistry.
