Ernesto Carafoli

Ernesto Carafoli

Born in Italy in 1932, he earned his medical degree from the University of Modena in 1957. An internationally renowned biochemist and researcher, he is a professor emeritus who has held positions at ETH Zurich and the University of Padua. He has authored approximately 500 publications and received over 20 international awards, including several honorary doctorates.
